Ghars International School is the brainchild of two academician that have worked with children for over 20 years. Mrs. Muna Burhama and Dr.Talla Al-Deehani, who wanted to bring the best in education from England to Oman. After much contemplation and research G.I.S came into being. It is a venture that evolved from  love of children and an aim to provide the best in education intermingled with fun!  We are a school that is continually striving to provide the best opportunities for our children. We have a highly skilled team of dedicated and committed staff who work closely together to ensure that the children are at the heart of all that we do. Central to our success is the desire to educate the “whole” child. This means working in a warm and friendly environment, where each child can work towards maximizing their potential in personal, social and academic enterprise. We create an atmosphere where all our children are valued and are able to contribute to the life of the school. We believe that the development of strong partnerships
